Unlicensed Personnel
If you are an unlicensed person
wishing to take courses, please check with your facility or
certification board to see if the courses are accepted.
All of the courses designed for those who are
unlicensed have been designed and taught by experienced instructors in
adult continuing education programs in a community college setting.
It is your responsibility to ensure that coursework done outside your
regular school program will be accepted.
All courses have been
approved by the Florida Board of Nursing for CNA's or by a State Board
of Nursing
A & P course:
this is not intended to replace the 8 credits of Anatomy & Physiology
required for nursing school. You cannot register for this class
on the internet. You must email us to register:

Medicine Aide
Course: You must
check with your state Certification Board to see if this course is
accepted in your state. We can only grant a certificate of
completion. We cannot and do not grant state certification.

Residents: For those who wish to take the
pharmacology course to challenge the LVN exam, please look under
course descriptions for details. It is your responsibility to contact the California Board and ensure
that you are eligible to challenge the LVN exam.
