DISCIPLINARY ISSUES

Consolidated Learning Services DOES work with attorneys to assist licensed professionals to meet the educational objectives and learning goals dictated by consent orders.   If you are an attorney, please click here.  We DO NOT give legal advice to licensees or tell you how to proceed with complaints, consent orders, disciplinary issues etc.

As an approved provider, we can custom design courses that will meet the specific objectives stated in a Board’s consent order.

Licensed Professionals:  If you are contacted by your licensing board that there is a complaint about you or you have legal issues which may affect your license, the prudent thing to do is contact an attorney immediately.   Disciplinary issues by your licensing board are not to be taken lightly and can and will affect your livelihood.   Whether you perceive this issue as your fault or not, or see it as a trivial issue is irrelevant at this time,  you have a serious situation and you need to handle it appropriately if you wish to continue to work as a licensed professional.   You should expect to pay for the services of those assisting you to get out of this predicament.  You paid a significant amount of money for your education, and without the use of that education you are unemployable.  It goes without saying that the economy is tough right now and unskilled laborers are having a difficult time finding employment.   While it may seem expensive now, it is relatively inexpensive compared to the loss of wages you will experience if you lose your license.

If you have NOT already met with the Board:    Do NOT contact Consolidated Learning Services.  We will NOT discuss your case with you.  We cannot give you legal advice about your situation.   We will not tell you what to do, offer you suggestions or in any way discuss this issue with you prior to your Board hearing.   We WILL talk to your attorney.

If you have already met with the Board:  Once you and your attorney meet with the Board, you will be issued a consent order, letter of reprimand, fine, or other recommendation to get yourself out of discipline.  We require full disclosure of the issue, including the complaint against you so that we can plan the best remediation possible.   We cannot adequately plan a course of remediation if you won't tell us what issues we are to remediate.   Consolidated Learning Services reserves the right to decline to work with clients in discipline or terminate the agreements at any time.

YOU CANNOT DO CLINICAL ROTATIONS OF ANY KIND WITH THIS COMPANY.   First, from an educational standpoint, it is not a sound practice to place a person with disciplinary issues in a precepted learning experience.  It is unfair to the staff and it is unfair to the person attempting to remediate.  General staff are NOT trained to work with disciplinary issues or re-training of specific problems.  You need to be with an actual instructor in your field of discipline.   Secondly, you are considered HIGH liability and NO clinical facility is willing to take you in a precepted experience.  Lastly, you may be uninsurable.  For these reasons, we will NOT place you in clinical with this company.
